What this website collects

Free download checkout collects your name, email, selected resources, and any optional school and grade information you provide. Classbook, workshop, and family inquiries also collect project details, such as group size, location, and preferred dates. Newsletter signup records your name, email, consent, and signup source.

How the information is used

Young Authors University uses these records to provide download access, review project requests, understand resource interest, and maintain the teacher email list when you opt in. Submitting an inquiry does not confirm a booking or production order.

Downloads and email signup

A name and email are required for free download checkout. Teacher marketing emails are a separate, optional choice. Downloads appear on the confirmation screen; the site does not currently send automated delivery or welcome emails. Download links expire after 24 hours and may be renewed by completing another free checkout.

Access and sharing

Records are stored in the website’s private Netlify storage and accessible through a dashboard that requires the owner’s password. Password verification is handled on the server. A signed session cookie keeps the dashboard unlocked for up to 12 hours; it can be cleared with Lock dashboard. The owner can export form records for use in Excel and Google Sheets. Website infrastructure providers process information to operate the service. Information is not sold or provided to sponsors through this website.

Teacher email preferences

When you sign up, the confirmation includes a personal email preference link. Save it to unsubscribe from future updates. You may also contact Young Authors University through Dr. Crystal Jordan, L.H.D.’s website to request removal or correction. Signing up records consent; it does not mean an email campaign has been sent.

Student information

These forms are for adult educators and program organizers. Do not submit student names, manuscripts, health information, or other sensitive student details. Follow your school’s policies and project-specific permissions before sharing student work.

Cookies and local storage

The application does not use advertising cookies or client-side storage for form records. A secure owner-session cookie is used only after the dashboard password is verified.
